curser freezes out of the blue

I press play but the curser doesn't move, it will move to bar 1 when I rewind but not play. I have to restart Reaper every time. (:

maybe some sort of audio driver problem. What is your audio interface/driver selection??

I would make sure usb selective suspend is disabled and also power management options for the usb hubs. Not 100% sure but possibly you could be losing connection to the interface so playback is not possible. Maybe next time it happens see if cycling power on the Audient fixes the problem as that may help confirm cause.
