power increase

How much power / torque increase can I realistically expect, by replacing the standard exhaust, cat, and air filter with sport on bog standard 2.3 940?:car-smiley-003:

To be honest i think you will be very dissapointed in the results, on a non turbo car you really need to look at performance cams on top of the filter, cat and exhaust. The air filters are normally best left alone until you start getting into serious tuning, the cat will probably make the biggest difference out of the three, but again very small gains for quite large outlays.

Yep I agree there will be very little horsepower gain. As long as the car is in good condtion you should find it will be more responsive and it will sound nicer too, but other than that don't expect too much. Maybe 5 to 10 hp, nothing really noticable. Cheers, John
