my 480 turbo died the other week, called the aa out, had no feed going to the fuel pump, put a temp live in, still doesnt want to know, any ideas anyone, dont want to scrap it as its in good condition and got tax and mot
i would look at the relays in teh relay box and also above your right foot under the dash 90% chance its one of those , nothing special just standard relays ..
A few years ago I had a 89 480 turbo with a similer fault. I had just overtaken a hgv when the car suddenly cut out in front of the truck I had passed. When we got the car home the fault was traced to a faulty fuel pump relay under the dash by the drivers right foot. If the aa put a temp feed on and the pump still wont work I would check the earth connection as I think the 480 had a plastic petrol tank(cant remember if the fuel pump was part of the sender unit or not)
