5.1/7.1 dts audio (isolating the streams)

Hi! I know that NicAudio has a Downmix2Stereo function, but is there a way to isolate the individual streams instead? My goal is to (more or less) compress the musical score without compressing the dialogue. I don't expect any of the streams to be purely one or the other, but I'm guessing some of them will emphasize the music over the dialogue.

I've not used nicaudio with DTS, but I have used it with AC3 and you can call getchannel to select the channels you want. For example (this is just off the top of my head): Code:

Take in mind than NicDtsSource() don't have full support for DTS-HD audio (7.1 must be always DTS-HD), only try (not always work) to decode the 'core' (5.1). The recommended method to manage DTS-HD is first decode the DTS-HD, with eac3to+ArcSoft, to WAV or W64 and after open the WAV/W64 in AviSynth with RaWavSource().
