Semi-quaver MIDI Delay

Could this be a driver issue? Please, somebody, I need to move on to MIDI. As sexy as the video demos are, I'm afraid to buy Strike because of this delay .... HELP!

Some more details are required for us to give you a proper response, as already mentioned in the thread you are linking to. We need to see the Sandra report as requested in that thread. Please run sandra, go to the "Hardware" tab, and run the "Computer Overview". Post the complete results of the computer overview report here. It would also be helpful to know exactly what steps you are taking to achieve this particular problem you are having. Please be as painfully detailed as you possibly can, starting with how you are creating the session, what bit and sample rates, what tracks you are creating... every single mouse click and physical action you take up until the error occurs.

I'm still not clear on what is happening exactly? Are you just saying you *hear* Xpand! after the actual MIDI note hits the play head? What are you comparing the playback of Xpand! to, exactly? Can you give us an exact step by step of what you're seeing? Have you tried changing the Global MIDI Playback Offset?
