fuel pump removal, quick release leads?

im trying to remove the fuel pump,, have located it but having trouble removing the 2 fuel leads attached to the top of the pump.. i think thay are quick connect leads which you just push on but how do you take them off?? the connecter will move around but wont budge.. do thay pull of the pump? any help would be graitfully appreciated,.. (i have just orderd a work shop manual but wont arrive for a few days!) thanks james

thanks jod5 quite fiddely but came off o.k, have broken rubber sleeve on one of the connecters, will this be o.k?? was thinking of putting a large rubber washer underneath,? thanks again james, crossed polars on pump and ran backwards well.. however splutterd in usual rotation.. have cleaned some gunk out and running o.k now... will still get replacment and willl keep this as a spare!!

hi just wondering,, what do i do if the quick connect things do not seal? will i need to replace the leads, or can you replace the connectors? secondly.. where can i get the new leads with the connectors attached? thanks in advance Jod t5.. will get some photos, if i have to replace the leads to the filter from the pump i will take plenty of pics and do a "how to" guide..
