**i know...the sample is really there, but it shows the wrong value for the sample...didnt know how to really word it, it's early here still...:P i noticed that when i render a file with a pulse for the very first sample, i end up with a pulse at the end of the file as well as the beginning. this seems to be only a GUI thing. i checked the rendered files with meters and other software, and the sample is not really there, but Reaper draws it. it's not only sinc interpolation, i tried with dots and lines and it shows an extra sample there, too. to reproduce this, put a "pulse" at the beginning of a file (x secs long) and render it. import the file and check the end. i also noticed some weird stuff like this going on with "reverse active take". not sure if it's related but thought i'd include it just in case... this is my original file (top) and rendered file (bottom) and this is the weird behavior i get when performing reverse then reverse back on my original file with a pulse at sample 0 (all "reverse" behaviors seem wonky with GUI stuff) Mac OSX 10.11.6 / Reaper64 v 5.961 (44.1 kHz/64bf and 32bf files) (i checked the latest release quickly and seemed to be the same behavior)
