newbie needs help!!!!!!!!!!

Hi to every1. I own a volvo v40 1.8 x reg 86k. Just seeing if anybody can help me basically my car keeps playin up. What the problem is it starts fine some mornings (first time) and other mornings it takes ages to start. Also i can take the car out it runs fine but when i stop (turn ingnition off) and i try to start it again it will play up and not run properly. Its as if its firing on 2-3 cylinders and when i rev it high (approx 6000 rpm) it misses. Then when i try to pull off it really struggles. I have put in new spark plugs and taken leads off coil packs (2 coil packs) to see if they are firing and they seem to be working. Any help will be much appreciated thankyou

Sounds like the Mitsubishi GDI engine if I am not mistaken. Do you do a lot of short journeys? Give the car a blast along the Motorway at high revs to clear the build up in the engine, some refer to it as an 'Italian tune-up'. A lot has been discussed about the GDI engine, if you do a search you will find piles of info. Oh, and welcome to the forum. Please excuse my manners.

one more thing toadd to this is u should try some cat clean made buy the guys who make k seal it good at clearing the engine
