Hi, just transferring cakewalk to reaper, want to use some of the sonitus plugs, but I can't get the presets to import, if I try to import I get a header error, if I rename a .ini to an .rpl and stick a header I took out of a .rpl in it, that doesn't work either. Not finding anything in the manual or the Cakewalk to Reaper .doc thanks!

Hello zodog52 and welcome to these forums. You'll find many helpful people here and a lot of useful information. They cannot be converted as the 2 formats are quite different. I can Import the Sonitus preset bank (the .ini file) using the plug-in's preset Manager, note Reaper's. Does that not work for you? Once the Bank is Imported I can load each preset using the plug-in's Preset Manager and Ave it as a Reaper preset (or .fxp) or back into the Bank.

You're right, I can import from sonitus, it just doesn't show up in the reaper FX GUI and that made me think it hadn't worked. So I just need to save the ones I use in Reaper. thanks again for the help!

Your welcome. The Sonitus presets will not show up in Reaper (or any other DAW host) as they are internal to the Sonitus Preset Manager.
