i just finished a piece in 6/8 and it was very annoying that Reaper does not properly display the grid lines to reflect triple meter. no matter how much you zoom in/out even numbered measures never show a grid line. and you can't find the 4th beat of any measure anywhere. grid lines still show as if the project was in duple meter. i can't imagine working in 5\4 this is not the way a top DAW should work, don't you think? please fix it. thx!

Is this in MIDI editor or main arrange? At which zoom level? I see all 6 gridlines in 6/8 correctly here... What are your grid settings?

This is for example what a 5/4 grid looks like when you set the grid to "1", which you would expect to be "1 bar" but really it's always "every 4th beat depending on what the denominator in the current time signature is". So in 6/8 it would place a marker every 4 eighth notes, but in 5/4 it places a marker every 4 quarter notes. Notice how the grid lines don't match up with the measure starts?
this is just plain messed up in anything other than duple meter there should be a grid line on beat one of every measure. There isn't in non-duple meters like 6/8, only the odd measures get them. there should be a grid line on every common subdivision of a measure as you zoom in. In 6/8 that would be every 1/8 note. There isn't if there were these grid line I would easily be able to find beat one of say measure 12. And I would be able to easily find beat 4 of measure 12 what's the point of having a grid line on beat 5 in 6/8 while not on beat 4?! messed up!
